The Letters of John: God of Light, Love, and Life
Break down the barrier between what you believe and how you live by studying the Letters of John.
Are you ever frustrated that your actions don't line up with the truth you say you believe from God's Word? Sadly, we often speak what we know about Jesus or sing along with rich theological truths at church, then live out our days with a lukewarm love for God and act in disobedience to his commands.
Our pride tends to build a brick wall between our heads (what we know about God and the gospel) and our hearts (where we're transformed by God and the gospel). We cannot tear down the wall by our own effort; we need the Word of God and the Holy Spirit’s help to take a sledgehammer to our pride so the truth we know in our heads about God can travel to our hearts and transform our actions from within.
